Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA), during an investigation of plots in Johar Town, has unearthed 19 plots that were allocated by the use of illegal or forged documents — according to a news source on July 30. Reportedly, 18 of these plots are 1-kanal in size, and the total cost of the identified plots is PKR 500 million.
According to the details available, the LDA had been investigating illegally allocated plots in Johar Town and had discovered that forged documents had been prepared to have these plots allotted. The documents provided by the presumed-owners of these plots had no record official authentication, and the same could not be confirmed via the official records.
Consequently, the LDA has cancelled the allotment of these plots. The majority of these plots are located in N-Block, while one 7-marla plot is located in P-Block. These plots have now been added back to the LDA Plot Bank.
