Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Housing Dr Amjad Ali has announced that the allottees of the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme’s (NPHP) Jalozai Housing Scheme will be given their plot possession letters in April — a news source reported.
The minister also directed Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) Chief Amjad Khan to work on the establishment of a grid station for the housing scheme. He assured the PESCO Chief that the government would ensure that the work on the grid station would not face any shortage of funds. Khan, in turn, assured the minister that the work on the transmission line would be initiated soon.
The minister made these statements while chairing a meeting to discuss the Jalozai Housing Scheme. Secretary Housing Daud Khan took the opportunity to brief the attendees that the aforementioned transmission line would be placed along the 200 feet road in the housing scheme. He also revealed that the site for the grid station had already been identified.
On the occasion, Dr Amjad Ali further announced that 80% of the work in the housing society had been completed and that it was being developed on 10,000 kanals of land. He added that Prime Minister Imran Khan would be invited for the official inauguration of the project.
Reportedly, Jalozai Housing Scheme is set to be the first project that has been developed under the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme in KP.
