Expressing concern over slow progress on some critical projects, the secretary warned that delays would not be tolerated. He directed the concerned officials to accelerate construction activities and improve project execution.
He said timely completion of the schemes would improve road connectivity and provide easier access to urban centres for people living in remote and underdeveloped areas of Balochistan.
The secretary stressed that infrastructure development and timely execution of projects were important for promoting economic growth and stability in the province. He added that the benefits of the development schemes should reach far-flung communities without unnecessary delays.
Babar Khan also reaffirmed the department’s commitment to transparency, efficiency and quality in the execution of development projects.
