Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Monday notified the opening of technical bids for development works in sub-sector I-15/4. According to the details revealed, a CDA committee would evaluate the bids, followed by the opening of financial bids of qualified firms.
The development authority had previously publicized its decision to invite bids from companies registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-2 or above. In response, a number of firms submitted their technical and financial bids.
According to the civic agency, the development of infrastructure (including earth works) is underway in the sub-sector I-15/3. The authority has already completed a survey of dilapidated roads and streets in said sector.
The civic agency had launched Sector I-15 two decades ago to provide affordable residential facilities to low-income citizens in the capital city. The incumbent CDA management has conveyed its intent to develop stalled sectors and to address the issues faced by the allottees of plots in said locality.
