Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has set up a dedicated desk to facilitate the winners of the recently held auction of commercial plots in the city’s New Blue Area project, according to a news source published on Tuesday (July 21).
The dedicated desk is established at the CDA’s Estate Management II Directorate. The move was announced during the recently held three-day auction (15-17 July) of the twelve commercial plots at the Jinnah Convention Center. The auction succeeded in accumulating a total amount of PKR 17.4 billion – which was the highest amount ever to be generated at a CDA auction.
As per the details, the initiative aims to offer a single-step solution to all the bidders and help them begin the construction work on their respective plots at the earliest.
The New Blue Area is an extension project of Islamabad’s Blue Area, located opposite to the F-9 Park. The project was launched by Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on March 1 and is aimed at stimulating the investments and economic activities in Pakistan.
