Gwadar: The district administration of Gwadar has intensified efforts to attract domestic and foreign investment by strengthening collaboration with the private sector and improving the city’s business environment.
The initiative was discussed at a high-level meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Naqeebullah Kakar and attended by Member of the Provincial Assembly Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, senior government officials, representatives of the construction sector and investors.
Participants reviewed investment opportunities, urban planning, land management, construction activity and measures aimed at creating a transparent and investor-friendly environment.

Officials said progress had been made in resolving land record issues, improving municipal services and advancing development projects, particularly in New Town, which they said had enhanced Gwadar’s appeal for long-term investment.
Addressing the meeting, Kakar reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to providing transparency, institutional support and efficient facilitation for investors. He said increased investment would help generate employment, stimulate economic activity and improve living standards for local residents.
Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch expressed support for the administration’s reform efforts and assured investors of continued cooperation in addressing their concerns.
Representatives of the construction sector welcomed the government’s initiatives and pledged to expand investment and development activities, expressing confidence in Gwadar’s potential as an emerging economic and commercial centre.
