Lahore: Bahria Town CEO Malik Riaz has announced to launch the Bahria Town Peshawar project. In a message posted on his Twitter account, Riaz said it was ’time to deliver yet again’; asking the citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to ‘get ready’.
Following the launch of Bahria Town Karachi in October 2013, the developer had announced to expand his flagship residential scheme to other cities - including Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Sukkur, and Peshawar. On November 25, 2016, the project’s management announced to launch Bahria Town Peshawar within 60 days of advertisement. On December 31, 2016, however, Riaz – through his Twitter account – conveyed a one-year delay in the scheme’s launch.
Among the initiatives announced in 2013, the administration fulfilled its promise pertaining to the launch of its residential project in Nawabshah; which was launched in November 2015. The booking process for the project was, however, halted soon afterwards. The project was relaunched in October 2019.
Malik Riaz’s latest Twitter message contains certain hashtags; indicating that the Bahria Town Peshawar project will be launched in January 2020.
Previously in 2016, Zameen.com had reported on the purchase of land - identified on GT Road between Nowshera and Peshawar - for the construction of Bahria Town Peshawar. The latest information on this front confirms that the location is the same.
