Islamabad: The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) has successfully digitised over 499,040 applications submitted under the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP) initiative, a news source reported.
Soon after Prime Minister Imran Khan first announced the launch of NPHP, the registration forms were made available for download on NADRA’s official website.
The authority has been assigned the task of digitising all of the forms that have been submitted, with the first phase of the process now having been completed.
On January 29, the government had started issuing new forms for Renala Khurd, Lodhran and Chishtian. Affordable homes will be constructed in these districts under the first phase of NPHP.
These forms can be obtained from all branches of the Bank of Punjab.
The affordable housing project, in the above-mentioned districts, also features a quota reserved for government employees, members of the armed forces, and disabled citizens.
