Islamabad: The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) has set up its help desk facilities in 26 business centres to provide information for the Prime Minister’s (PM) ‘Kamyab Jawan Programme’ (KJP), a news source reported. As per officials, the help desk staff will provide relevant information to the scheme’s applicants.
As per reports, the authority has established these facilities at its four provincial offices and 22 district-level business centres – located inside the buildings of major commerce chambers. People looking for information can head to any of these desks during office hours from Monday to Friday.
SMEDA Acting Chief Executive Officer Fuad Hashim Rabbani on Thursday said that applicants looking for information on KJP can take a look at the information pack specifically prepared for this scheme by SMEDA. These include a ‘Business Plan Template’, ‘Frequently Asked Questions’, ‘Financial Calculator’, ‘Training Documentaries’, and ‘Business Guides’.
Under its Kamyab Jawan Programme, the government in collaboration with various financial institutions plans to provide business loans and subsidised financing to young entrepreneurs – with 25% of the total loan amount quota allocated for female entrepreneurs.
