Multan: The Multan Development Authority (MDA) Enforcement Wing has demolished five illegally constructed structures and buildings in various parts of the city as part of an operation, reported a news source.
MDA Town Planning, Demolition Squad and Enforcement Wing staff carried out the operation under the supervision of MDA Special Judicial Magistrate Abdul Rauf in the presence of a police force. Reportedly, the MDA Town Planning officers had identified these illegal buildings and structures near Multan Bypass Road, Muzaffargarh Road, and Shah Rukn-e-Alam Colony.
In this operation, MDA staff razed several illegally constructed shops, boundary walls, rooms, and warehouses. Furthermore, the officers retrieved land allocated for a school from illegal occupants. The MDA Enforcement staff also cleared a plot being used as a dumping site by the local residents. Here, the MDA will construct a boundary wall to keep it from being encroached on again.
