Lahore: The Ravi Urban Development Authority (Ruda) has sealed offices of 14 illegally developed housing schemes within the jurisdiction of the Riverfront Urban Development Project (RRUDP) area over the past 30 days.
According to officials, Ruda’s enforcement teams carried out multiple operations across different localities, dismantling infrastructure and sealing offices of unapproved housing schemes. The authority also halted the sale and purchase of plots in these unauthorised developments.

The operations were conducted by the Ruda Enforcement Wing in coordination with police personnel to ensure compliance with development regulations.
On Monday, a Ruda team conducted an operation at Ghausia Colony, located along Katarband Road in the Ravi City jurisdiction, sealing its office and dismantling related infrastructure.
Enforcement officials have warned that any housing project operating without formal approval will be declared illegal, and its infrastructure and offices will face sealing and demolition.
Ruda reiterated its commitment to ensuring planned urban growth and protecting investors from fraudulent or unapproved housing schemes.
